Installer proceeds to install, fails on non existing drive

If the user chooses D:\folder to install the program, and D:\ doesn't exist, InstallAware allows the installation to proceed and throws errors like

"The system cannot find the path specified."

Instead, IA should check if D:\ exists, do its space requirements check and fail before proceeding no?

Thanks,

Chris

I'm aware there is a validate drive plugin (which doesn't accept variables) but why not do the checks within IA?
