We needed to replace the harddrive in our compter and now need to reinstall InstallAware 9 on Vista Business x64. I contacted Installaware support and they told me they don't keep older files on thier servers (thanks for nothing). Instead they told me to come here.
Name: InstallAware 9
File Ver: 9.4.9006.2009

I've tossed a lifebelt to you in the water requesting your FTP for upload. Send to me when you're ready.

pointeman, I can't upload the file to your FTP account. I used the connection details you emailed me. I'm getting errors like this (using FileZilla):
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (75,145,171,221,13,223).
Command: REST 113562
Response: 350 Restarting at 113562 - Send STORe or RETRieve to initiate transfer.
Command: STOR InstallAware 9 R2.qqq
Response: 150 File status okay; about to open data connection.
Response: 550 Requested action not taken, file not found or no access.
Error: File transfer failed after transferring 262,144 bytes in 1 second
Status: Starting upload of C:\Temp\InstallAware 9 R2.qqq
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (75,145,171,221,13,224).
Command: REST 0
Response: 350 Restarting at 0 - Send STORe or RETRieve to initiate transfer.
The upload file is about 1.5GB. Are there any restrictions?
I was able to upload a test text file (+/- 700KB) and that seemed to upload okay. I deleted it afterwards.

Please try again, thanks for your help...

I don't know what's going on with it. It still keeps aborting the transfer at the very beginning. I'll have to defer it until I get home later and try it there. I might need to split the file into smaller (7z) chunks and see if I can get it through that way. FileZilla attempts to restart the transfer but it barfs with the same message continuously. Most puzzling. Until later...

Funny thing is, I split the original exe into 150MB size chunks and I was able to start uploading two of them. Thinking it was working with smaller files I stopped the upload and tried to delete them and got errors doing that. I disconnected the session and tried to reconnect. Now. I'm unable to connect at all. I'm not sure if you've torn down the FTP account and want to use the ShareFile.com account but without the session details for that I'm not sure what to try next. I'll have a final stab atthe FTP route when I get home later.

pointeman, my apologies for my confusion but when I went to
www.sharefile.com there is a login option but if you don't have one you can only review their product, download it, that sort of thing. I can't find any upload link or button listed. Am I missing something or misunderstanding what you have in mind?

I got the email with the FTP details. Perhaps it's on there as well but I don't remember. I do recall that it was the only email I got from you so perhaps the second one has gone AWOL?
I'm now at the office but if you look at the eighth message in this thread
http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewt ... f=2&t=7174. You'll see my email address in it so if you send the account details to it I can check my web mail during the day.
