Problem with installing files

We have some issues with the exclude filter on the install files command. I have added this filter:

"*.pdb;*.xml;microsoft.xrm.sdk.dll;" - but it still install the file microsoft.xrm.sdk.dll , is this a bug or do I do it the wrong way ??

then instead of taking all files from the bin foldes I have specified the files i want . This works fine when building it from the installaware apllication itself, but when using the command line compiler the installation package comes with errors " Error reading from file c:\prog...... "filename". Verify that the file exsits and that you can access it... There are not compiler error when doing it from the command line..

what to do ??

Hi,

Unfortunately you can't exclude a file with more than one dot in its filename. We are working on this.

I didn't really understand your second issue - could you please clarify?

Problem is that the filter does not work. Then instead of just including all files from our bin folder (and exclude files not needed), I have added every file needed for the installation, line by line..

When I build the installation from the installaware gui application and try the installation, it works as it should, installing the files I have specified..

When I build the installation from the commandline .. it comes with some errors that it can not find the files I have included... and we use the commandline tool on our build server to create installation so we kind of need the commandline version.. It does not come up with any compiler errors, only when you execute the installation file

I use it like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallAware\InstallAware 10\miabuild.exe" "C:\siteshopcode\SIS-DEV-CRM5\Installation\Server\SIS-Installation.mpr" /b=2 SISVERSION=100.0.0 SISVERSIONSHORT=100.0 sourcepath=C:\siteshopcode\SIS-DEV-CRM5\

What are the exact errors that you are getting?
