MSI msg: "Patch API could not create a small patch"

I'm fairly new to IA. Purchased IA 2012 Studio Admin about 3 weeks ago. Have a completely new installer created for an existing system. All works great EXCEPT creating patches. I've been beating my head against the wall on this for 3 days. Just discovered the "debug" log feature so created the log and wanted to share the first part here in hopes this means something to someone. It's not the whole log since it seems to go on and on with the same message for EVERY file in the installation. In the end, the patch it creates is 317mb which is most of the original 400mb setup.
I searched for the key phrase about "could not create small patch" here and on the entire internet. Nothing answered the question for me. Any help would be appreciated. This is the last piece to the puzzle and I can't figure out if this is some flaw in MSI, IA, or me!
