EditMask error message translation

Using an EditMask control with a given mask (e.g. 9999;9;*) and entering not all requested chars/digits, IA automatically shows an errror message box saying "Invalid input value. Use escape key to abandon changes". This message is shown in all translated languages, too. We cannot find the (English) translation string inside the translator tool. Any hints how to translate this kind of resource?

Hi,

Instead, I would advise checking the length of the string before calling the command.

EditMask is not a comand but a control inside a custom setup dialog. The IA error message is generated automatically inside the (still) shown dialog, if the input does not fit into the given mask, e.g.: still finding '*' chars inside a masked control with following mask "9999;9;*. In this case only numbers are valid input values, any left '*' will trigger the mentioned error message....

Why are these kinds of messages not available inside the translator?

They should be - are you using the mTranslator.exe tool?
