Hi, I have a setup, that include a very small SQL script. This script was tested against XP, and 2008 server. Under 2008 it runs correctly, but not under XP. I tried to include MDAC 2.8 w SP1 without success...

Any ideas??

Thx

Dear User,

I suggest to you to test your script first using SQLExec from command line or with "Sql Managment Studio", to verify that the script works correctly.

I already did that, and the SQL statement works fine from the SQL Management studio, and from the same setup under windows 2008.

Can you try to use the "SQLExec" directly in your script and see what happens?

Let me know.

Hi, I have a setup, that include a very small SQL script too. Under SQL 2008 R2 Standard it runs correctly, but not under SQL 2008 R2 Express, both on the same Win 2008. I already test it on Managment Studio and works fine on both version of SQL.

Could you help me please?

Thanks

Dear Andres8a,

how do you execute the SQL script?

If using "SQLExec" directly works fine, you could call it from your script.
