visualize .Net4

While installing .net 4 in the background, I need a dialogue frame that opens with the message “.net 4 will be installed, this will take few minutes, please wait. Maybe with a process field, showing the process time. Is there an example we could use.
Problem is: We do have a program that within the installation routine the .net 4 must be installed. As soon as the .net 4 starts to install, there is no more process showing on the desktop. Therefore the user could get the impression, nothing happens. Starting the “Task Manager” you see the installation process. We would like to visualize for the user, that the installation takes place.

Dear User,

Probably I have not fully understood your question. What do you mean for "While installing .net 4 in the background"?

If you include those runtimes in InstallAware, you should already have a "progress dialog" that displays the execution status.
Generally in the "[DEFINE REGION: Install Application Pre-Requisites]" of your main script, should be a call to the script that install the runtime. In this you find the status porogress operation update sequence.

Let me know.

hello,

the framework installed it without any dialogue or process indicator. I cut out the region code once and then added, nothing happens.

THANK YOU

Dear User,

Fortunately you have translated your previous post :?

The code you showed me it is the MAIN script that calls the real script that execute the installation.
The script that is responsable of the runtime installation is : "setupnet4aip_client_x64.mia".

Anyway I have included in this post a very simple project that demostrates it, it does not use WEB MEDIA BLOCKS, but it is quite the same.
The project once compiled requires a 64 bit OS target to be executed.
