Hi,

is there a possibility to choose a date and/or time in the dialog(s) comfortably ? (Like the DateTimePicker-Control in .Net)

I cannot find a control providing this feature, maybe i am not seeing it ?

Christ23,

I'm shooting from the hip but is this possible:

1. Have a button on the dialog that when clicked, exits the dialog without closing it.
2. Check which button was clicked in much the same way the other dialogs already do.
3. Run an exe in your file bag and let it do the date/time selection. On exit write the value to the registry or return an int YYMMDDHHMM.
4. When it exits, get the return value from the registry or if it fits get the DOS error code YYMMDDHHMM.
5. Deconstruct it and pass the processed value to a text box on the dialog.
6. Jump back to the code where you launched your dialog.

To be honest, I've never tried it so I might be writing a lot of bull poo but it might give you something to think about. I'll be happy to try it myself unless you want to have a crack at it yourself.

Apologies if I'm wasting your time. :)

Thanks bokkie!

Yes it could be possible as you suggested ... but I suppose that Christ23 just looks for a control that does it.

I can understand why he'd like a control to do it.

To be honest, there have been times when I've wanted a plate of delicious seafood pasta and a glass of ice cold beer. Sometimes, you have to go to the kitchen and cook it yourself. :D
