DRM & tw.dll

Hello.
I would like to use Digital Rights Managment to distribute a demo version with an absolute end date.
But, frequently, with Windows XP SP3, on startup the application crashes. Windows creates a report error with ModName: TW.DLL in default. The DRM screen does not show.
This problem does not exist on Windows 7 (32 & 64 version).

Is this dll part of installaware package ?
Do you know any conflict with this function ?

Thanks.

Dear Septam,

for what I know TW.dll is not part of InstallAware package.
I have also done a search on my test system to verify if exist any match... but nothing at all.

Probably, but I am not quite sure, that is part of Twain interface (a system resource for scanner devices or digital image acquisition).
With past OS versions probably, it was called TW.dll instead of TW32 or TW64 as it is actually.

I haven't any report about possible conflicts with DRM.

Regards

I noticed two more things.

The tw.dll is dynamically created on application start in C:\Documents and Settiings\Septam\Local Settings\Temp
(the date changes at each start).

Windows XP SP3 with IE6 will always fail.
Windows XP SP3 with IE8 will sometimes fail.

Remark: If I create an install without DRM, the file tw.dll is not created and the procedure has never any problem.

Hope this can help.
