Web Deploy Failing

Hello,
I have a relatively simply Web Deploy install that works just fine when I run it from within the IDE or directly from the output folder, but completely fails when deployed to an IIS web server. I have tripple checked that all my 7zip file names exactly match the http filename in the Web Media blocks.
1) Are there any special IIS settings that need to be set for Web Deploy to work?
2) Can someone review my script to let me know if I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks,
John

Dear User,
very probably the problem is caused by the "7zip" Web Media Block extension.
Rename all occurences to those file to "zip" in your Web Media Block project settings and then, rename the generated blocks as well (the Web Media Block files are always generated as 7zip by IA even if you alter the filename).
Otherwise you should change your IIS server settings (MIME Type I Suppose) to handle those files.
Hope this helps you.

Thanks. That did the trick. The web master changed the MIME settings to recognize 7zip extensions, and it now downloads. My personal computer has an issue with Norton Antivirus SONAR shutting down the program as a result of it performing suspicious activities, though. However, if I disable my AntiVirus protection, it installs fine. Am I doing something in my script that would cause this behavior?

Dear John,
I'm happy that you solved your Web deploy issue.
Regarding your Antivirus question, I don't believe it is something related your script operations ( ... an installation makes system modification ... of course), but I suppose that is caused, very probably, by the antivurs settings.
Some antivirus are very intrusive and if these filters any possible system access (registry, restricted folders and so on) ... will make difficult any system modification.
Hope this helps you.
