Second reboot does not resume

Hi,
I've a setup with some prerequisites (Installer 4.5, NET 3.51, NET 4.0, ...), after the installation of the Windows Installer 4.5 engine, the setup process ask to reboot and resume correctly.
Now if in this "resume session" there is another reboot request the setup does not resume anymore.
In this case it seems that the "runonce" registry key is wrong because it contains doubles command line parameters like the following :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce]
"93855E26"="c:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\Impostazioni locali\\Temporary Internet Files\\Content.IE5\\09QV4JAB\\dvinst~1.exe /m=\"C:\\DOCUME~1\\ADMINI~1\\IMPOST~1\\TEMPOR~1\\Content.IE5\\09QV4JAB\\DVINST~1.EXE\" /k=\"\" /m=\"c:\\DOCUME~1\\ADMINI~1\\IMPOST~1\\TEMPOR~1\\Content.IE5\\09QV4JAB\\dvinst~1.exe\" /k=\"\""
Is this a bug of the "Reboot and resume" command? Or it is an unsupported scenario from the "runonce" process?
Any ideas on how to solve?
