Hi

The exe installer generated does not have the product name and product version filled and I cannot find a way how to insert them from within the installer. Attaching is an image of the properties dialog. This can be opened by right clicking on the exe installer and select properties. Is there a way to insert these?

We have to agree to that, see here:
Furtermore our setup is build in language german; the details tab shows up "Englisch (USA)" which is wrong.

Product name should appear in installer exe properties/details.

HAHN, what is the default language you have selected? German?

Yes, operating system's language is German, default select language in our setup is German too respectively we're only using German language in our setup (no language selection dialog).

What about this post? Do we get an answer on that issue?

Has this feature been implemented as of IA2012? These two fields are still blank.

Our team is also interested in being able to update the ProductVersion field. I know it was mentioned in this topic that there was a feature request for this functionality. Have there been any updates to this request or is it being considered for an upcoming release?

I have personally added the request to our TO-DO list. ( ... it should be already there ... but there isn't).
