Relative path to .mia

Hi,
I am trying to develop an installer in our UK office, which will be built in the US. To be efficient, I copied the entire project folder from the US PC onto my PC in the UK.
When I double-click the project.mpr file to open it, I get:
Project Load Error
Script for project missing
\\remote machine name\path to\project.mia
Closing project now
The required .mia is right here in the folder, next to the .mpr
I think the problem is that the .mpr or another file must contain the absolute path of the .mia
As it just closes the project, I don't get any opportunity to make a repair. It would be nicer if it asked me to browse for the missing file.
Can I overcome this by hand-editing a configuration file, please? And if so, am I likely to encounter another similar problem?
Actually this problem is rather a surprise, as I had already copied this project folder to a PC in the US from the UK, and build the project without problems. So I did not expect to have any difficulty copying it back to the UK.
Thanks for any assistance.
Nick
