'Problem with Shortcut' uninstalling after pinning to Start

When uninstalling an application that has the 'Pin to Start Menu' option selected for its shortcut, I get this message

I am using AI 10.10, the machine is Win7 32bit.
If I unpin the shortcut from the StartMenu manually, before the uninstall, I don't get the message.
Is there a way to IA to remove the pinning, before the uninstall?
