I've installed the 4.5 framework using the downloadable from MS and it extracts everything to a root folder instead of using %temp%.
Maybe this is away of avoiding the problem...

You can put this one aside. After rewriting the IA related scripts (checkXXX, setupXXX) the problem vanished. Don't ask me why
