Cannot search on the forums, get 404 errors

Hi all,

I am trying to search in the forums several times in the last couple of days, and all I get is a Google 404 error. See the image attached. Not matter what text I am searching on, I will always get this 404 page.
Also here is the page link: http://www.installaware.com/forum/searchResult.html?cx=011227709885969188372%3Aqggzqb4je8k&cof=FORID%3A9&ie=UTF-8&q=stop+service

And here is the page text:

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /cse?cx=011227709885969188372%3Aqggzqb4je8k&cof=FORID%3A9&ie=UTF-8&q=stop+service&ad=n9&num=10&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.installaware.com%2Fforum%2FsearchResult.html%3Fcx%3D011227709885969188372%253Aqggzqb4je8k%26cof%3DFORID%253A9%26ie%3DUTF-8%26q%3Dstop%2Bservice&siteurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.installaware.com%2Fforum%2F was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

Hope this issue can be fix soon.

Dear Edhy,

the fact is that "from here" the link you provided produces the following result.

So, I really don't know where is the problem.

Hi Francesco,

Thanks for the prompt response. That is very weird situation, I have turned off my firewall and tried with 3 browsers and always got the same 404 error.

I also tried remotely from another computer with another network and got the same 404 error.

Maybe a DNS issue since it is working on your side. I am in New York, don't know where are your ISP servers.

Please if any other user form the forum can test the search and see if they get a 404 error as shown in first post.

Very Very strange!

anyway our support dept is in Central Europe and obviously, we use different ISP servers ... but I don't know if this can have any relation with the problem, but probably it does.

I get the same Error 404 when I search. I am in the US.

Well, thanks for testing this, it is a good news, in a sense that now it is confirm they have some sort of DNS problem and can start doing more testing from other points.

Francesco if you need remote access to test this directly from a USA ISP, just let me know so I can help. I really need to be able to search on the forums.
