I see there is an MSI file for MSXML3. I recommend you run that file using the (Un)Install MSI Setup plug-in command. You may add it to your project as a support file and execute the MSI using the path $SUPPORTDIR$\\msifile.msi.

Also, I was able to merge these fine. Is the merge module library still registered on your system?

Very odd. I re-registered mergemod.dll in the InstallWare folder, but it still does not work for MSXML although the MS Soap merges work ok.

Don't worry any further - I can get around any issues with your suggestions.
