Install Log File

Hi,

I would like to create during the installation a log file to know what errors happened during the installation.

I read the topic

but I do not clearly understand where and how you define the generation of a log file.
I wrote a command line in the shorcut of the main executable of my setup but no log appears during and after the installation.
I am sure I do wrong.

Can you tell me the procedure ?
