Encrypting compressed files

Is it possible to get the Web packages to be encrypted?

I know there is an option to make the entire install password protected, but what i really want to do is leave the installation open, it just requires a serial number.

I do not want the users to be able to manually decrypt the contents of the web media blocks.

So i guess it is just manually hardcoding the password in the install script.

where would i need to place this, and how would i use it.

and how do I get it to not encrypt the main install.

Encrypting your web packages whilst leaving the main setup open is not really possible.

If you are using serial authentication, you can totally skip entering into web media blocks, thus preventing users from ever downloading (or even finding out about the URLs) of the web media blocks they are not authorized to use.

Unfortunately we are not using the web media blocks online, they are all stored locally on the CD, so anyone who has access to the CD can then extract them.

Can I put this forward as a suggestion.

It would be nice to be able to keep the install media a bit more secure.
