Using Web Media Blocks Correctly
Using Web Media Blocks Correctly
I am currently trying to create a stub installer for my main project. I am looking to use Web Media Blocks in a new IA project to do this. I am able to find where I can define a web media block (able to specify name and location of the exe to download), but am unsure of how to trigger the download and execution of the file. If I try to "run program" I can find nowhere to specify the web media block I want to use. When reading, I see it says installations after you declare a Web Media Block assume the appropriate files are in the WBM, but if I leave the source location blank, it throws an error. What am I missing?

Dear User,
you don't need to handle the web media block download. IA does it for you automatically.
Please have a look at the document "WebAware Installation Technology (Partial Web Deployment)"
