Outside of what's on the internet, any thoughts on how to make a service run?
It installs with ease---but fails to start.
When I manually install the service, it works without a problem.
Thanks!

Re: 1053 error with service installation
Dear Stanzo,
please don't post multiple times the same question.
By the information you shared, it's not easy from here to find out what are the cause of your issue.
I can only suppose that you are not issuing the service command correctly.
Could you post a very very minimal project that replicates your issue (along with all the files used)? I'll try to verify it.
BTW, did you try the sample available with the link http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5819?
The sample demonstrates how to install a service, did you see any difference with the approch you used?
Regards
