64 bit installation goes to 32 bit after dll usage

Postby Daniel Öberg » Thu Nov 12, 2015 9:01 am

Hi,

Using Installaware X3 20.05.0.20.

We turn the installer into 64 bit if 64 bit os is detected.
Install files works good and put the files in Program Files as Targetdir.
Then we use Call DLL Function and after that all the files installed to Targetdir goes to Program Files (x86).
Not even if I try to make the installer 64 bit after the dll it works. It gets stuck with 32 bit.

Any solution on the way?

BR,
Daniel

Dear Daniel,

In all honesty, I am not able to replicate what you are reporting.

Do you have any chance to post a very MINIMAL project that replicates the issue?
If you prefer, you could send it to: support@installaware.com .

The issue seems not to happen if I create a new project. But if I use my old real projects, created in InstallAware 2012 9.26.11, the issue is there.
I can send you my project? Not that extreme in size.
