Outer/Wrapper MSI Product Code

Is it possible for us to explicitly set the product code on the "Outer" (Group Policy/Active Directory) MSI when generating a single file .EXE? Our corporate IT group thinks this would help them monitor our installations with System Center, right now it is different on every install. The actual product code is nested in a MSI inside a .EXE

Alternatively, if there is some documentation about how to optimally generate MSI's using InstallAware for use with System Center, that could be useful as well.

Dear User,

if you are referring to the MSI product-code that gets generated at setup Runtime when running an msi install, this value is dynamically generated by the MSI engine directly and cannot be defined ... it's a random value generated at Runtime.

Alternatively, you may give a look at the InstallAware Direct Deploy.
