Problem building a single file output

When I try and build for a Single File output on IA v10, it will very occasionally work correctly, but most of the time gives the following error at the end...

.
Compressed setup files
Prepared SFX data
Error during build: Cannot open file "C:\Program Files\InstallAware\InstallAware 10\{982296E9-A95A-4D50-AF28-99A0FEA4B427}". The system cannot find the file specified

Building an uncompressed output never fails. It looks like it's something at the end of the compression phase that is failing.

Any suggestions?

Dear Bob,

what is exactly your project path? Are you saving your build in Program Files Directory?
have you tryed to use a different path for your project, ... document path for example?

I have the same issue!.
But for me the error message is:
Error during build: Cannot open file "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallAware X3\{A5B15468-FC06-44DB-A533-5B00A037D98F}". Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden (File not found)

the Project path is the documnet path.
My Version is X3 (Build 10.10.15)

I have deinstalled an reinstalled Installaware, without any success!

Dear Martin,

did you install all required IA features?

I suggest you as first, to download and install the most recent version of IA X3(ver. 20.11) and then use a new re-generated license file to activate the product. Have care to install all required features, in case of doubt install all IA features.

If the problem still persists, please verify if an installed Anti Virus may be at the root of your issue.
