Patch folder has many subfolder and exes

Postby kishorkk23 » Tue Jul 12, 2016 9:30 am

Hi,
I have created a patch for my installation of 54Mb(Single install). I modified a single file and created a patch for the same.
I see that patch folder has many subfolders like
Base Package 1
project1.msp.repack
project.msp.tmp
Upgraded Package , along with other files like
mia.lib
project1.exe
project1.msp
project1.msg.log
project1.pcp
project1.res
sfx.7zip
sfx.txt

Also the size of this folder is 840 MB . Why are there so many files created and which is the actual patch file that can be distributed?

Thanks

Dear kishorkk23,

I suppose you enabled "Leave debug files" in the project settings of your patch project. This is probably why you have so many files left in your patch release folder.

.

You only need to distribute the generated "patch.exe" file.
