Question: sfx.7zip.tmp

Hey Guys,

I have a batch file on my desktop to create a setup via miabuild.exe.
It works perfectly, but after upgrade from IA 18 to IA X5 I have the following problem:

File "sfx.7zip.tmp" or "sfx.7zip.tmp1" (when running more than one parallel) files are created in this location where the batch has been started (e.g Desktop).

Is that normal? In IA 18 the file has been created in the target directory...

Dear Heiko,

I just tried with a batch file that has the following line;

- start "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallAware X5" miabuild.exe "C:\Users\test\Documents\my project\My Project.mpr"

...and I am not able to see any "sfx.7zip.tmp" file left within the folder used to start the batch file (I also tried from the desktop dir).

For what I see, the unique "sfx.7zip.tmp" is the "temporary" one within the project release folder.

I am using just miabuild without the path. I think the Application is found over Environment Variable "Path" which Contains the Installation folder of IA X5.

I have more Problems with miabuild but maybe this is the reason for everything. E.g Data folder still exists After Build in compression Mode (only miabuild, IDE Works Fine)
