How to remove files of particular Components

I created a special dialog that is only called if REMOVE is TRUE, where the users can select one or more components they would like to uninstall.
The problem is that when I issue the Apply Uninstall, it blindly remove all files.

Is there any way to specify which module to uninstall only and a method to tell which files belong to a module?

Or will I have to have all installed files marked as permanent, and will have to issue specific file deletes?
