SuperOrca.

Postby bokkie » Sun Jul 27, 2014 2:17 am

Guys,

Once in a while I use Microsoft's Orca tool to inspect msi files and while looking for any updates to it since I downloaded it a few years ago I found a link to Pantaray's SuperOrca free download. Has anyone used it before? They let you know in the documentation that if you edit the msi file there is no going back because updates are done immediately. I can't remember if Mircosoft's Orca does the same.

They also sell a product called QSetup and I found it interesting that they compare their product to Installshield Express and Wise Standard. I thought Wise had gone under quite a while back?

Anyway, the IA team might like to look at the comparison specs because they might be doing things that IA might consider for inclusion in a future release? :)
