This week I have had two users reporting corrupt exe errors when they try to run our installations. The files are digitally signed, are not new, and have been tested across thousands of users and systems without issue. In both cases I have had the customer redownload using different browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and confirm the file size and digital signature. There is nothing out of the ordinary about the files, so it looks like a system issue, but two very similar reports in two days sets alarm bells ringing.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing it or troubleshooting advice?

Re: Isolated cases of corrupt installation exe
Dear Mark,
it could be "very probably" an Anti Virus false positive issue and No product seems to be immune from false positives.
I have recently experienced a Microsoft Visual Studio setup package corrupted by an AV, due a false positive.
