I am upgrading to the x3 Studio Admin and running InstallAware_x3_with_runtimes.exe and continue to get the error message
"The system cannot find the path specified
C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallAware X3\Setup Capture\PackageAware.exe"
I have downloaded the install pgm 3 times and each time I get the same error message on execution, and yes the path doesn't exists. I have run the install with Admin rights to no avail. I have tried the full install, and also a modified (partial) install with the same results.
I am installing on a Windows 7 Ultimate system with plenty of disk space, and I have shut down the Virus protection.
Any ideas?
Thanks - Eric

Re: cannot install X3
When I installed the Studio version, and not the Studio Admin version, it installed as expected.

Re: cannot install X3
Dear Edbuescher,
unfortunately with some Virus protections, it's not enough to just "disable" the AV application.
Anyway, what you reported seems to be an AV related issue.
Alternatively, you may try to use the web installer version.
Our Full installer package is not digitally signed and in case of problems caused by the AV, you may try to use our web installer version.
Due its reduced boot strap size, this version is digitally signed.
BTW, Always keep the full installer with runtimes as "trial backup copy" for any later use.
