Prerequisites on Deintalling??

Hello,

is it a bug or feature:
when deinstalling an application installed by Installaware and I uninstalled one of the prerequisites before, the uninstall wants me to install this prerequisite again?!?

Why does the setup not check in which mode it is and does an install prerequisites only when in Install mode?

Dear Anja,

it seems to be in this way by default.

Anyway to disable pre-req execution at maintenance mode (repair/change features/un-install), it's enough to execute the respective application RTMs "check_Scripts" conditionally. This can be done using the value of the "MAINTENANCE" pre-defined variable.

For example:
