Make web media block use filename when compressing
Make web media block use filename when compressing
The default file names that IA generates for the 7zip web media blocks is the full name of the package. Is there a way to make the compressed filename the one that IA is looking to download it from? If not, could this be an enhancement for a future version? I always have to rename these when I have them built.

No one ever replied. I wanted to bring this up because I think makes sense for usability especially for new users, but would save me a lot of time.

Dear Rev23dev,
I'm not quite sure to fully understand your request.
Probably you mean; when editing a Web Media Block, the possibility to automatically update the "filename portion" of the URL field, in order to reflect the name assigned to the Web Media Block.
Am I correct?

Re: Make web media block use filename when compressing
Well, currently when you build you'll get filenames like
Microsoft SQL Server 2014 SP2 (x64).7zip
My URLs point to a more URL friendly filename https://myserver/path/sql2014sp2_x64.7zip
So, anytime I rebuild those packages I have to go rename the files before I upload them. I think InstallAware should use the filename I have specified in the URL when building these instead of that full friendly file name.
Hope that clears it up
