Today Microsoft released signature update version 1.325.32.0 for Defender Antivirus that detects a Trojan in the Setup.res during installation.
This happened the second time during the last few month. We reported it to Microsoft and learned that their AI that runs the test isn't happy with something in this file. So far they always could clear it as a false positive and resolved it with the next signature update.
Anyway, it is very frustrating because new and updating/upgrading customers complain about our software even though we do not have any influence on the contents of this file.
Is there something you can do about it?

Unfortunately we can't do so much about this.
I can only suggest you to escalate the matter to Microsoft and ask for a permanent solution.
Generally consumers always have more leverage with anti virus vendors than software manufacturers.
Hope this helps you.
