We have 2 shortcuts to the same .exe file in the start menu, each with a different command line.
Both shortcuts have been set to be advertised, but only one of them is highlighted.
Is this expected behaviour?
Will we have to make a second copy of the .exe, called something else to get the 2 links to be advertised?
Cheers
Gareth

What do you mean by highlighted?
If you are referring to Windows Explorer's highlighting of new programs in the Start Menu, this is *not* what advertising does. Advertising is completely unrelated to that and actually makes your setup more complex and harder to maintain - if that was the sole reason for you to use Advertising, just use regular shortcuts and see.
Explorer decides on its own what to highlight and what is not, and this has nothing to do with advertising...advertising is a Windows Installer technology that you would rather avoid if you can!
