We are trying to get our software accredited and the Install package we are using is failing the Microsoft Platform Ready Test Tool 4.6 for Windows Server 2012 R".
We have created a Compressed Single Self-Installing EXE and set to sign the package with Authenticode and have checked to include all executables required for Windows 8 Logo. On the whole this is working fine apart from the internal MSI file that is extract out of the EXE to a temporary folder during the install. This MSI file is not signed and this is the only thing we are failing on at the moment.
I am working on a very tight deadline here so I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Cheers
Sean

Dear Sean,
suppose you need to sign that file using the "installAware code signing" Tool (available under the "Tool" folder - IA application start menu).
Please also refer to the following topic;

How would I go about that? The file is only created by InstallAware during the build process and then wrapped into the final EXE by the same process. At no point in the process would I be able to sign the file.

Dear Sean,
Please forgive me... I confused your question with another one.
Let me verify it.

Dear Sean,
I just verified and it seems to be in this way, the iternal MSI file doesn't get signed.
Currently I can only send a note to our dev team about this behavior.
