Setting DCOM Launch and Activate Permissions

Hello,

We need to add remote access, launch and activate permissions for the "Distributed COM Users" group on one of our COM objects as part of our install.

Is there a way to do this in InstallAware?

Right now we are calling DCOMPerm.exe using the RunCommand and setting the required permissions, which works but will not accept a well-known SID (S-1-5-32-562) which means we can't localize it.

Dear Sheri,

Unfortunately, I never used DCOMPerm.exe and not an expert with "Distributed COM Users".

Usually, how do you set that parameter?
