Crystal Reports 2008 runtime

Downloaded the trial yesterday. So far I like it. Coming from InstallShield...

The application I am trying to deply requires the Crystal Reports 2008 (12...) runtime (not to be confused with the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008 (10.5...) runtime).

How would I go about getting that version of crystal to show up in the 'Application Runtimes' designer?

ok. so i found this link:

that has me started, but I am having a bit of trouble deciphering existing 'Runtime Detection' scripts and 'Runtime Installation' scripts. i want to create my own, but i just don't get it. i assume they match up with what is described in the pdf to some extent, but i am having trouble connecting the dots. doh!

so i was wondering if you had any other forum posts / additional documents or resources that could help me figure out what is going on to achieve the goal stated in my original post.

i may be getting mislead a bit by looking at the mia files through a text editor. that seems to interject a bunch of guids. i guess i should be editing these in ia instead?

Yes of course, you work with them in the InstallAware MSIcode editor.
