Hi,
I have just dowloaded InstallAware 6 to see if it is a worthy replacement of our clunky InstallShield 10.5.
One of the very first things I realised while browsing though the User Interface is that it doesn't have any options/capability for version control. In my workplace, we cannot check-in something if we cannot review the side by side differences between the old code and the new code.
Is this missing in InstallAware or am I missing something?
Thanks,
InstallAware and Source Control

Hi Orlando,
If you are looking for a "Diff" tool, currently one is not available. Some of our developers have been saving their scripts as human readable text to "Diff' them and check them into source control.
At any rate, you may check in the actual project files and "Diff" them using your source control tool - the results won't be entirely human readable, but they will eventually make sense if you review the open text file format that InstallAware uses for saving projects.
