Please forgive me in advance if the answers to these questions seem obvious, this isn't really my area of expertise, though I'm learning.
First things first, I really want your product but need to inquire as to whether or not you offer any discounts to non-profit organizations. Had I come across this site earilier, this wouldn't be an issue, but we have far exceeded our budget in attempting to utilize other solutions which have failed us.
We are not a software company, per se, the main purpose of our organization is to promote conservation and work towards saving the Southern Resident community of orcas. During the process of launching our own campaigns, we quickly realized just how limited non-profit organizations are in terms of accessing technology.
As such, we have decided to focus on creating free solutions (in the form of both online applications and traditional software apps) for non-profit organizations. Again, this isn't exactly, the mission of our organization, so this is more of a side project for us.
We've actually already spent a small fortune (far exceeding our budget) on various other tools, so a discount would be much appreciated. I'd like to go with the Developers edition, since we will need some of the features listed in that version.
I believe that we qualify for a cross upgrade discount, but I can't seem to find any information on this process. There doesn't seem to be an entry on the order form for us to include our competitive products serial number.
We're very limited on funds at the moment, basically keeping things going with money from our personal accounts, so even the 30% discount off the developer is going to be a stretch for us. If you offer any other discounts, please let me know, otherwise, can we purchase the standard edition now and upgrade to the developer package later?
Thanks

For a competitive upgrade, all we need is your serial number - you can just email this to us after ordering.
Please email information about yourself and your organization to our sales email, and we will arrange for your further discounts.

Candice,
First, I just want to say thank you once again - and not just for helping us purchase the program, but also for creating such a wonderful, easy to use, application. As I stated in my initial post, I really wish I had found this site a long time ago.
I've been messing with both Wise & Installshield for the past few months (a complete waste of money, by the way) and in that time I've accomplished nothing. In fact, I can honestly say that my experience with these two progams nearly killed me. As I mentioned to you in the email I send, I'm having some health problems - basically there are a bunch of air pockets surrounding the outer lining of my lung which increases my risk for having my lungs collapse (which has happened a few times already).
Working with Installshield and Wise (Wise was by far the worst) caused me to get so frustrated and upset that my left lung actually collasped - and this was before I even got through the installation.
Again, I've wasted the better part of two months trying to work with these two programs. After purchasing your product yesterday evening, I've already been able to create a complete installation wizard. I just can't believe how great and easy your program is, not to mention that it has a variety of features not found in InstallShield or Wise.
Now, I'm no expert here, but I would highly suggest to anyone considering purchasing or switching to InstallAware to do so. As for comparing features, it can all be summed up as follows:
InstallShield does exactly what the name states, it shields you from making any sort of installation at all. Wise, well, it's anything BUT Wise. It seems that InstallAware is the ONLY viable solution.
Thanks again, and keep up the great work!
