Physical folder not removed for IIS virtual folder

Hi,

My installer was trying to install 2 web services (asmx) and 1 regular web site (aspx). All 3 are sitting in their own folder on the file system, and own virtual folder on IIS. Deployment works fine and removal does delete all 3 virtual folders from IIS. But somehow for the 2 web services, an empty root file system folder were left behind under Program Files, while the root folder for the regular aspx site were removed fine.

Rebooting the machine didn't help, folder were still there (folder not locked). I can manually remove the folder from explorer so it's not a permission issue. All 3 virtual folders were setup the exact same way on InstallAware, but just the 2 folders where left. All 3 folders and files were included from the same wildcard on InstallAware so nothing were set to persistent.

Any idea? Thanks!

If for whatever reason there is a problem with removal, just manually delete the folders using Call DLL Function and the RemoveDirectoryA API in kernel32.dll - that will work as long as the folder really isn't locked!
