Installshield vs. Installaware

Hello,

i plan to move from Installshield to Installaware. Is there a way to build updates with Installaware, in a way tha previous Setups from Installshield gets automatically removed?

Hi Ulf,

Yes this is possible.

You'd use the Run Program or (Un)Install MSI Setup commands to remove your previous InstallShield version, once you detect it in the systme using Read Registry or Is MSI Setup Installed.
