I'm getting the following error when I click the Application Runtimes - "Codegear Database Express 4"
Error during build: No files matching pattern "C:\\Program Files\\CodeGear\\RAD Studio\\5.0\\\\dbExpress\\*.ini"
I am running a newly installed Dephi 2007 with InstallAware Express. I don't have a dbExpress folder where it is looking.
dbExpress error?
Workaround
Hi, eric.
I encountered this trouble, too.
The cause of this problem is in the file 'C:\\Program Files\\InstallAware\\InstallAware 6\\runtimes\\checkdbx.mia'.
And there are 2 problems - first one is wrong path delimiter. In checkdbx.mia, line 16, 18 and 31, '\\\\' is incorrect.
Second problem is wrong path of '*.ini' at line 31. These files exist in 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Documents\\RAD Studio\\dbExpress'.
Please backup 'checkdbx.mia' if you try to correct these problems, and please craete new IA project (because checkdbx.mia is copied to IA project folder).
And please release official fix > InstallAware.

It appears CodeGear changed the installation path of dbExpress files without bothering to let us know
Sorry for the trouble.
The "\\\\" delimiter is not a concern. You don't need to worry about it, InstallAware takes care of that automatically.
We'll talk to CodeGear and then post an updated include script that takes care of this problem.
