I get a generic error on install in the pre-req errors in this configuration telling me to run it from Windows Update.
Is there another way that I can do this? I really need this to be seamless for users and just install.

I also get the same sort of generic error on a fully patched Vista SP1 machine without any .NET Frameworks installed when it tries to install SP 2 of .NET 2.0 (x64 edition of windows in this case)
This really needs to be seamless...
