Hi,
I have two questions regarding removal of InstallWare branding. We recently purchased Studio floating license.
1. How can we remove the InstallaWare copyright branding from file properties->Details tab of the single file deployment? It states ''All right reserved8 InstallaWare Software''
2. Is it possible to customize/remove branding of the trialware text when running them?
Thanks,
Best regards,
Kim

Re: Remove InstallAware branding
1- Such entries can be defined from the "Project Options Dialog" (SHIFT+CTRL+F11)
Anyway, It's strange that you see "All right reserved8 InstallaWare Software'" from file properties. Unless you used a very old IA version to create your project, most recent IA versions don't set such value with the InstallAware branding.
2- The "Demo Warning Dialog" only appears when the package is built with a TRIAL installation of the product. Once activated the product, the warning message doesn't get displayed anymore.

Re: Remove InstallAware branding
Thank for you reply.
Question 1:
The properties options you refer to doesn't have '8 Installaware Software' in Copyright field. Only 'All right reserved'. Still it shows 'All rights reserved8 InstallaAware Software' if one right-click on the single-file installation and click at 'Details' tab. The project was created using trial version of InstallaWare that existed few months ago. The one before X12 was release. I opened that project and created an installation made with X12 version build 7.2.2020. Is it some way to convert a project to newer version to get rid of the text '8 InstallAware Software' in Copyright field?
Question 2:
Is it possible to remove the branding text to Softwrap web site?
By clicking on 'Next' you are agreeing to the End-User Terms and Conditions on the Softwrap web site:
http://www.softwrap.com/EULA
"
The site cannot be reached either (which is actually good as we don't want our customers to agree to whatever Softwrap might have in their End-User Terms and Conditions.

1- Can you please post a screen-shot of such details?
2- I'll check this out, but I don't think it's possible to remove it.

Re: Remove InstallAware branding
Thanks,
That is the problem I have. The Comments field only have the text 'All rights reserved'. Still it adds '8 InstallAware Software'. I don't see that in new projects I create in X12 but in the old X11 project I opens in X12 and builds single file installation.
If I change the text to 'No rights reserved', I get 'No rights reserved18 InstallAware Software' as the result.
If I clear the text I get 'Copyright© 1996-2018 InstallAware Software'
Maybe I can clear that text by adding extra spaces after what I want to display.

Re: Remove InstallAware branding
I'm not able to replicate a similar behavior. I can enter just single character or even leave the field totally blank ...and the copyright entry gets filled as expected. What you are reporting sounds very strange, honestly.
Do you have any chance to share your project? I would be very curious to verify what you are reporting.

Re: Remove InstallAware branding
Hi,
I solved it by adding x numbers of empty spaces.
I created the project in one version older than X12 and with trial license.
To get rid of some branding, I have altered translations in trans-folder.
Maybe that caused some effects.
Best regards,
Kim

I'm happy you solved ...but all sounds very strange. I can only suppose that there is something wrong with your project.

Just to add the reference to the reason I discovered.
It's a bug due to setting the compression level to max for single file installation:
