@ gsaunders: Oh I am not sure if I can send you the whole project. As I said I just seperated the updates script from the installation and created a blank project for the updater with just this updates script (no applyInstall, no purple commands, it is just an application made with IA). Pass the $VERSION$ Variable to the updater. I also pass the $UPDATESINI$ and some more variables to have a generic updater for all our applications.
Try to start and then tell me where do you have problems and can't get further?
