Creating a Patch does not work

Hello,

as described in your white paper Using InstallAware 7 to Patch Software Products i get the following error when building a patch against a saved web deployed version

Code: Select all

Processed base package c:\\projekte\\cabis\\trunk\\setup\\cabis\\Patch\\Base Package 1\\cabis.msi
Creating patch c:\\projekte\\cabis\\trunk\\setup\\cabis\\Patch\\cabis.msp
Error during build: Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000

Pls help soon because i need to redistribute patch now.

hi,

anybody here who can try to find a solution for the described error? the error comes up in installaware itself so i have no ability to find a solution for it!

i suggest you contact the regular support by submitting a ticket.

They usually answer quite fast.
