I set the $TARGETDIR$ variable and then have a destination dialog that has a folder tree and a folder text object. Both are set with
Receives Information: [Written Variable Value]
Writes Values to Variable: TARGETDIR
I set $TARGETDIR$ to C:\\Program Files\\MyProgramName I have a message box that displays this right before displaying the Destination Dialog. However, the Destination Dialog has both folder objects displaying the path to Desktop not the value stored in $TARGETDIR$
How can I fix this? I have set it to Uncompressed and have run it in both the debug and Run modes and it works the same way.
Destination Dialog does not show correctly

Set receives information to Installation Folder. The other setting is intended for use with custom variables other than $TARGETDIR$, so no need to point to your left ear with your right hand over your head
