Hi,
I need to install certain files specifically to Drive & off of the root. When I set a variable to C:\ and then specify that Variable as the "Install To Folder" prefix, or when I use the command "Get Common Folder Location Special->Boot Path into <variable> the GET results is always drive F:\ (a mapped network drive). I also tried the predefined variable $MYBOOTPATH$
Te workstation that the application is being installed on obly boots off of DRIVE C.
How can I get files to install specifically to Drive C (or the actuall boot drive?
The O/S for the client workstation is WIndows 7, 64-bit.
Thanks,
Norm Derrick

Re: Install to Specific Drive (C:\) $MYBOOTPATH$ Installs to
Correction about drive F:\ - this is a "System Reserved" drive on my 64-bit machine which contains the "bootmgr" file and a hidden "bnoot" folder. I need to be able to explicitly create a folder for some files off of C:\ root and install a compiled M/S Access MDE file there.
