Lots of trailing white-space in file's description field

While checking the final installation .exe produced by InstallAware 11, I noticed that the Description field in the .exe's file properties is way too long. It is much longer than the actual string specified in the InstallAware field, actually all the text is there but with a lot of white-space padding after it. Is there some way I can avoid the extra trailing spaces?

What tool are you using to examine the description string?

Windows Explorer. Right click on the file, select Properties, use mouse to select the Description field in the General tab.

We pad the description with spaces when building the EXE and then just write characters as needed. I apologize for the inconvenience.

This is not a bug, its just the way that InstallAware writes the description. Therefore, we don't expect to change it anytime soon.

It is pointless and quite uncommon for useless white space to be trailing a description. Other installers do seem to be able to avoid adding the extra white space, is there a particular reason why IA can't follow them?
