Starting the Dialog Editor

There are several ways to start the InstallAware User Interface Editor.

• Start the Dialog Editor from the Start Menu shortcut.
• Press the F12 key while the InstallAware IDE is running.
• Double-click or press ENTER while a dialog is selected in the Project Manager window. This will load the selected dialog into the editor.

Once the Dialog Editor is started, if an existing dialog is not already loaded, choose FileOpen to load a dialog into the editor, or work with the empty dialog design.
